Forum Activity – C# wins

I was at ThatConference last week, and was struck by the lack of interest on C# / XAML. It seemed to me that more developers these days are focused on HTML5 / JavaScript. Not that it is a bad thing for the development community to be moving away from C#…, well, OK, for me it is.  That’s just my opinion of the moment.

In any case, my spirits were lifted this morning (August 20, 2012) when I browsed over to the Windows Metro style apps Forums.  (Yeah, they did not rename this one yet.)  I was struck by the disparity in the total number of messages posted for the three major categories.  Because I liked the numbers I saw, I created this nice looking pie chart:

  1. i like C#/xaml too, because i think C# and .net framework is very elegent. i won't move to javascript/html just beause they get better support by apple and google. as a developer, the elegent of programming itself is more important. ^_^
