Careful Curation

From Microsoft:

Please review the V3.0 Store Certification Requirements (preview) - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/jj128432.aspx for common certification blockers (such as Internet Connection without Privacy Statement).

If you already know that the version of your App that you previously submitted to the Store via the submission process contains any known certification blockers - please immediately login to your Store Dashboard and click “Cancel Release”.  Once you have made any necessary changes then resubmit the latest version of your App - otherwise it will be Rejected for Certification from the Store.  Resubmitting your App at this time will not impact your place in the Store processing queue - and is preferable to getting Rejected.

See http://blogs.msdn.com/b/windowsstore/archive/2012/02/13/submitting-your-windows-8-apps.aspx for Store submission details.

Finally, I hope you are aware that the Store is only releasing certain applications at this time. The Store is carefully curating what is available prior to Full Release.  There are three possibilities - your App may be Certified and selected for Early Release (prior to Full Release), Certified and Held until Release or Rejected for Certification.

The above image is from a wonderful article by Beth Kanter called Good Curation VS Bad Curation.
